What can you do for your trading

If John F. Kennedy was here and writing this, he may have said something like; My fellow Traders, ask not what your trading can do for you, ask what you can do for your trading. Ofcourse you won't be alone with your trading. We will be here to help and guide you. However, without uncomrimising determination and discipline whatever we do will not succeed. You are the one, who will determine the outcome, namely your trading success or failure, nobody else.

Information overload
We all know and most likely agree about how Internet became a great source of knowledge. As saying goes, "If you cannot find what you are looking for on the Net stop looking, it probably doesn't exist".
However, we also discovered that we can be easily overwhelmed with information overload. While trying to gain as much as possible information we may end up gaining nothing. There are no ends of information warriors missing in noise. Trading information is no exception. There are many sites offering all kinds of trading information, great systems, indicators, EAs and so on... Some of these information and system can cost you a lot of money. It's sad to see many traders fall for these scams and end up wasting their money and time. You don't need extensive information to learn trading.
You don't need to study year after year. You don't need to analyze charts to the minute details and keep analyzing to discover those legendary hidden magic price behaviors day in day out.
 

There are no spoon feeding or tea parties at AG
We like to have bar parties to enjoy but none of those useless chit chat or ego polishing kind of talk. Trading is a business and we have to work for it earn our daily bread at the least. There are no time to waste. We don't have time for hobbyist or part-time traders. You need to get down to it and you need to get your hands dirty.
 

Analysis paralysis trap
There are many prospective traders out there who overestimate technical aspects of trading. They like believe if they analyze charts meticulously they will spot perfect trades. Because of over analysis, there rises many what if questions which leads them to analysis paralysis trap. They may be doing good chart analysis but they usually end up very few trades or none. We still say trading is more of an art than a science.

Learning (theory part) to trade is easy but trading is not, especially live trading where you put your money on the line. Trading profitably on a consistent basis takes a lot of hard work with patience and discipline. This part of trading cannot be fully thought but learned through extensive practice.
